Hello everyone!

Hello everyone! ¡Estoy aquí aprender y practicar el español!

I've taken 3 years of high-school Spanish and have been teaching myself for about a year now, but there's no one to practice with where I live. As a result, I can't carry a live conversation in Spanish without having to pause periodically(usually for a few hours) to compose sentences, and when I do speak/write I tend to make a lot of mistakes.

I'm learning a few other languages atm, and I've figured out the only way to achieve any fluency is through practice...a LOT of practice...

This forum seems really cool, so I hope I can do a lot of practicing here :)

I just joined myself and it gets a little overwhelming with how much more there is to learn, but its good to have a few people in the same boat right? I know a lot of words, but my sentence structure needs a lot of work. Basically, you're not alone. Good luck!

@ CrOtALiTo: Actually, I don't have a Skype account yet, but once I get one I'll send you my ID. I'm not very good right now, but the best way to improve is to practice writing and speaking.
