Un camino de cabras

Un camino de cabras

When we drive in a very poor road, taking into account the width or the surface, we call it, camino de cabras, is there a similar English expression?
Like trail of goats ?
Thanks.

In BrE, we might say

1. An unmetalled road (a road without tarmac surface, but OK for any vehicle)
2. A cart track (bad surface, but wide enough a cart, and possibly a 4x4 car or tractor)
3. A goat path / goat track (for a narrow / steep trail impossible for any vehicle)

:)

From what I've heard of AmEng, it seems that they usually just say a bumpy road or a bad road or maybe just "man you would need 4x4 if this were wet." In reference to the surface of the road we'll say that is a a gravel or a dirt road. Of course, other people might use some other terms too, but this is what I've heard.

Not wild goats (Capra aegagrus), which are native to Eurasia. We have mountain goats (Oreamnos americanus). They live in the mountains in the western part of Canada and the northern part of the western USA. I have never seen them in the wild.

We also have bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) in the mountains in western North America: I have seen them inside the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
