tengo una traducción en inglés del ese texto que no me parece correcta y quería su punto de vista.
Aquí es el texto en inglés:
"..in Mexico the attended a continental conference of poets where there were fewer declarations of friendship for Plato an poetry and none at all for their colleagues (which did not seem very surprising to them) but where they nevertheless had a wonderful time talking in the sumptuous Journalists'Club...":confused:

Not "fewer" but "the least" of them.

It means the majority declared to be friends of Plato but none, actually, of their peers.
