Cotilleo hepática

Cotilleo hepático

I think it means jaded gossip, but I am pretty sure this is not the most
common term for jaded or jaundiced gossip. Is ictérica ever used in Spanish in this case, or is it strictly a medical term?

That's one of the strangest things I've ever heard. "Cotilleo" is masculine, by the way. Just a few search results for the terms, both English and Spanish (excepting "jaded gossip"). Maybe some spy is trying to send a hidden message :D. It looks like some kind of "chismorreo movido por y dicho con amargura", but it's hard to tell.

Oops! The genders didn't agree. I have a tendency (when I'm not careful)
to turn Spanish into something like "Some Like it Hot".

I corrected the error.

I had never heard it before. I'd say ictérica is a strictly medical word.

But I found this, and now I understand it:

It would be a gossip created with very bad intention, related to the bilis that is produced in the liver (if my memorie works OK).

no descargues tu bilis en mí: don't take it out on me (colloq)
