Hasta los topes
It means filled to the top or up the wazoo. Is this a Spain-specific idiom?

Ok. I re-read again everything and all that has been said can be used also to mean you are up to the wazoo.
But there is another meaning which at this very moment I cannot pinpoint... as that spurred my reply in first place. EDIT: OK, I think I got it. Hasta el tope/la coronilla = fed up/up to the wazoo etc Hasta los topes/las cachas = untill there isn't more room for more. :) |
