Hola a todos:

Por favor ayúdame con la siguiente frase:

Para aplaudir al discurso de un hombre en el acto oficial de la Universidad Nancy da dos o tres silbados con toda su fuerza y as a result todos empiezan a mirarle.

I want to say that this results in embarrassment for her and this is an indication of her stupidity.

No. She attracted the attention of everyone by whistling.

We don't know if she was embarrassed or not.

We say "silbidos" instead of "silbados".

I understand her embarrasement because she whistles (instead of clapping) not being aware that this is somethiing you shouldn't do in an University act.

Don José is right, the right word is "silbidos". :)


"As a result" -> como resultado
