Hablar en inglés

Hablar en inglés
 

El otro día alguien dijo algo como Let's speak in English. En español hay una ligera diferencia entre hablar inglés y hablar "en" inglés (u otra lengua): "hablar inglés" significa que te desenvuelves bien en ese idioma, mientras que "hablar en inglés" quiere decir que hablas algo de inglés, pero no fluidamente, o bien que vas a hablar un rato "en" inglés.

Me gustaría saber si esta frase es correcta en inglés (Let's speak in English), en el sentido de hablar un rato en inglés, o bien debería ser Speak English en cualquier caso.

Let's speak in English es correcto tambien pero tiene un significado más
infático.
Por ejemplo: imagina profesor hablando con un joven, y el joven empieza a usar una jerga de los adolescentes. En profesor es capaz de decir: Speak in English please o Say it again, this time in English.

Hablo español con alguien y poco a poco llego al punto en que no entiendo
lo que me dice. En este caso yo podría decir can you say that in English please,

I think that you have said that when someone is involved in the language only when you are an native you speak English and other person studying English or that he knows English speak in English without be a native.

I've only just seen this thread. There are times when you might say one but not the other. If you were having a private conversation in Spanish, and someone else was listening in, and you want to shut him out by switching languages, you might say "Let's speak in English". The 'in' is more immediate and specific, whereas "Let's speak English" is more general. :)
