Is there a saying for that in English?

Don't start up with him.
Don't get him started.
Don't f... with him.
Don't get him going.

Don't provoke him.
Don't mess with him. (the non curse version of poli's )

Don't needle him.
Don't goad (prod/incite) him.
Don't wind him up. (I think this may be a British usage... the past participle on this may be more common... After all the provocations Messi was all wound up...)

I hope not to irritate anybody..., I used "hacer de rabiar" my brother when I was a kid... i.e., "infuriate my brother" by verbally needling and nettling him...

And then, there are the "Hermanos Malasombra" "Somos malos, mala sombra somos malos de verdad, somos como una espina que sólo sabe pinchar... y más malos que la quina... :rolleyes: :D
