Yo leía algo cuando encontré ésa idioma. Yo he buscado en muchos sitios, pero no pude encontrar el significado. Qué significa en inglés?

Thanks! I thought it might have meant something beyond the literal translation, which is why I asked.

As always, context is everything so a quote would help to determine if there is a different meaning to a phrase/word etc.

*Many faults there:
- "Esa" doesn't bear an accent.
-"Idioma" and idiom are false friends. An "idioma" is a language, and it's a masculine word. To translate "idiom", you can say "frase hecha", "expressión", "modismo", depending on what you mean.
Also, "esperanza muerta" is more like a cliché than like an idiom. ;)
