Rendir cuentas

Mi amiga es libre de hacer y deshacer, no tiene que rendir cuentas con nadie. Yo tampoco doy contiendas a nadie de lo que hago.

Can anybody translate it ?

My friend is free to do as she pleases, and doesn't have to kowtow ( or bow down or modify my behavior for) to anyone. Neither do I.

rendir cuentas = be accountable/give an accounting

no tiene que rendir cuentas con nadie =
she doesn't have to give an accounting to anybody/anyone
she doesn't have to explain herself (her actions) to anyone
