There's no need for forgiveness

There's no need for forgiveness

Hello.

Before I've only used google translate to translate sentences into different languages, but I feel like there's a lot of errors in them.

I've never studied spanish, even though I'm interested in learning it. Therefore I've really got no idea about the grammars. O.o

I wonder if the sentence
There's no need for forgiveness
is
No hay necesidad de perdón in spanish?

As I said, I just feel like there's something wrong there... xD

Well, I know it's impossible to learn a language just through google translate, so I'm glad I found this forum. Also, this is my first post cause I'm in a hurry to get this sentence translated. :o

I would really appreciate some help. <3

The sentence is correctly translated, but there are also other ways to say it. It really depends on the context.

Welcome to the forums!

Thank you so much! ^^

If I feel like I don't have to forgive someone, since I do not regret what I did to them, is that the correct way to say it? :')
(Like I'm telling myself that there's no need for forgiveness.)

Generally you would say "No hay nada que perdonar" = There is nothing to forgive.

If someone thinks you owe them an apology (they've been hurt/offended by something you did), and you're not willing to apologize or ask for forgiveness, you wouldn't say "There's no need for forgiveness." Instead, you'd say, "I don't believe there's a need (for me) to apologize (to you)," or "I don't think you need an apology/forgiveness (I'm not ready/willing to forgive)."

If someone thinks they've hurt/offended you and wants to ask you for your forgiveness, they come to you with an apology and then ask for your forgiveness.
If you don't remember the offense or if it didn't affect you in any way, you could say "There's no need to apologize," or "There's no need for forgiveness (on my part)." In Spanish, this could be said, "No hay por qué pedir perdón," or "No hay nada que perdonar (por mi parte)," or "Por mi parte no hay nada de qué disculparse."

... de qué discuparse ...
... nada que perdonar...
... por qué pedir perdon ...

;) (al mejor cazador se le escapa la liebre)

Corrected. Thanks!
