Advienen vástagos al connubio

Advienen vástagos al connubio

I have a question on the meaning of the following sentence:

Advienen vástagos al connubio regularmente hasta 1613.

Translated as: Stems to the combined Advienen regularly until 1613.

The preceding sentence may help explain what is being conveyed.

En el archivo parroquial de Revilla de Campos, que hoy es consultable en Palencia, se registra como primer vástago de Bartolomé Martín del Campo y de Juana García una niña nacida en 1598. Advienen vástagos al connubio regularmente hasta 1613.

I have translated both sentences as:

In the parish archive of Revilla de Campos, which is now serchable in Palencia, it is recorded that the first child of Bartholomew Martín del Campo and Juana García a girl was born in 1598.

I thank you in advance,

Steve

Advenir = success (as in succession)

vástago = offspring

connubio = matrimony

Would that help you?

advenir = to come about, to happen, to come to pass
