In English ''It's difficult for us old people''.

In Spanish ''Es difícil para los viejos como nosotros''. Is this correct?

That is one way to translate the English sentence. It's correctly written.

Es difícil para (nosotros) los viejos.
Para los viejos es difícil.
Para los viejos como nosotros es difícil.

A few others:
A los viejos nos cuesta (hacer algo).
Nos es difícil a los viejos (hacer algo).
