Using non-personal verbs (to grow/to grow plants)
I recall reading somewhere that if you want to use verbs in this way, there is some special alteration you have to make, but I could be mistaken
I grow - crezco I grow plants - crezco plantas (?) Do we have to write the sentence differently if the verb is acting on the object? Thank you for helping me solve this ambiguity. |
Crezco. (I grow, in size, into a mature biologic being)
Crecí / Me crié (I grew up, I was raised) Cultivo plantas (grow deliberately) El pan cría hongos (grow spontaneously) Nunca me salieron las muelas del juicio (I never grew wisdom teeth) |
