Waiting for you to come...

Quisiera decir "I am waiting for you to come to Los Angeles" en español.

The verb "esperar" can mean "to hope (for)", "to expect" or "to wait (for)". The intended meaning depends partly on context and partly on usage.

Typically "esperar a (que)" = "to wait for/until", while "esperar (que)" means "to hope for/that" or "to expect that":

Espero a que vengas = "I am waiting until you come" or "I am waiting for you to come".

Espero que vengas = "I hope that you come".
