Translating 'teach myself'

Translating 'teach myself'

How should I translate 'I have been teaching myself some Spanish'? I know 'myself' can be confusing for Spanish speakers- here it is being used to say that I am teaching Spanish to myself, rather than teaching it to other people.

Thank you.

He estado estudiando español por mi cuenta.
He estado aprendiendo español solo.

I agree with Alec.
One more option,
He estado estudiando español de forma autodidacta.

Although there are plenty of people who will say: me enseñé yo mismo o me estoy enseñando instead of using aprender.

Right?

Yes, on a colloquial basis, I think a lot of people will say so.
