English to Spanish quick translation
 

Could you please check my translation in the below sentences? Text was given in English I translated that into Spanish, my Spanish is very basic so been using only simple words that i know. Thank you.

Who do you often write to? – A quien escribes a menudo?
I often write to Alberto. – Escribo a Alberto a menudo.


Where do we go today? – A donde vamos hoy?
Today we go to the cinema – Vamos a cine hoy.
Who do we go to the cinema with? - Con quienes vamos a cine?
We go with Jose and Jorje? – Vamos con Jose y Jorje.


Where’s Jose from? – De donde es Jose?
He is from Chile. – Jose es de Chile.
Is he Chilean? - Es El chileno?
Yes, he is Chilean. – Si, El es chileno.

What do you talk with him about? – Sobre(De) que hablas con el?
I speak with him about lots of things. – Hablo con el sobre muchas cosas.

Why do You(Usted) go to club with him? – Por que va al club usted consigo?

I am just not quite sure what the missing word in the last sentence is, i thought 'al' replaces 'a el' so it doesn't need any more words?

Wrholt, you are right should be just lower case, in my book in some places it starts with capital letter and this just stuck to my mind..

Unfortunately i dont even feel the difference yet as started learning recently - it is going to take some time :)

:) Isn't it amazing how our unconcious minds work so hard to try to find rules for using a new language from every possible scrap of evidence, only to get led astray by unusal coincidences such as only ever seeing a word written one way?

Yep, you're still at the beginning stages of developing a sense of what's more typical or less typical with regard to style, right where you should be at this point in your language learning career. Some of that sense develops due to concious effort and coaching. I've also been surprised by how much that sense develops without my realising it, although sometimes the unconcious bits are, um, not quite right. :)
