Do I need to use the subjunctive in this sentence?

Do I need to use the subjunctive in this sentence?

This is the sentence that I am trying to use. Are the verbs in the correct tense/mode (indicative or subjunctive) or not?

"Para solucionar este problema, la gente debe siempre continuar aumentando la conciencia de los otros sobre la igualdad de género en todas partes del mundo y en todos contextos, hasta que esta cuestión sea resuelta y hasta que la gente esté convencida de que el mundo ha llegado a ser un lugar donde todos son iguales, tienen las mismas oportunidades de empleo y son igualmente recompensados por sus esfuerzos"

Also, if there are other ways in which this sentence could be improved, I'll appreciate if you could let me know.

Thank you

It reads fine to me the way it is.

Welcome to the forums, by the way.

I would use subjunctive to make it match with "hasta que la gente esté convencida". :)

The only thing I would change is to include yourself in the 'todos' and conjugate the last three verbs in the plural first-person.
I believe 'ha llegado a ser' makes a case for the indicative mood, but I'm not a native speaker.

Thanks for the replies. Both of them are very helpful.
If I decide to stick with the subjunctive for the whole sentence, should I say:

Para solucionar este problema, la gente debe siempre continuar aumentando la conciencia de los otros sobre la igualdad de género en todas partes del mundo y en todos contextos, hasta que esta cuestión sea resuelta y hasta que la gente esté convencida de que el mundo haya llegado a ser un lugar donde todos sean iguales, tengan las mismas oportunidades de empleo y sean igualmente recompensados por sus esfuerzos" ?

Also, good advice for the 1st person plural, but for this assignment I'm not allowed to use 1st person :S.

Thank you :)

 I like it, except I would get rid of one 'hasta que'.

... hasta que esta cuestión sea resuelta y hasta que la gente esté convencida ...

conciencia ---> awareness : concientización (Hispanoamérica), concienciación (España),

also incrementando (aumentando is an unusual colocation because it also implies size)

en todos contextos ---> en todo contexto or en todos los contextos (the first one is better)

"hasta que la gente esté convencida de que el mundo ha llegado a ser un lugar donde todos son iguales, tienen las mismas oportunidades de empleo y son igualmente recompensados por sus esfuerzos"

subjunctive was wrong there, people is conviced or may eventually be convinced of something specific.

Alec - this seems to be the only mistake you make in English, but you keep making it. :D
