Watching Spanish Programs/Movies with Spanish Subtitles

I think that a good way to improve your Spanish listening skills is to watch Spanish movies/television programs with Spanish subtitles.

And, with time, slowly wean yourself off the subtitles.

That's what I'm doing right now.

I see that many Spanish YouTube videos have subtitles, and I'm using that. However, I do plan to wean myself off it slowly (not cold turkey).

YouTube's subtitles (also known as closed captioning) are not perfect at all. But they're better than nothing.

Sure it works, but I usually take books to read and watch and hear movies/clips etc... ;)

Llamé mi biblioteca local y aprendé que tiene peliculas en español con subtitulos españoles.

The Hitcher, trata de descubrir si tu biblioteca local tiene los mismos recursos.
