English

My son has just decided to study English at University and I feel really proud of him. The tradition lives on...

Rusty June 08, 2008 03:08 PM

That could be totally your fault, MarĂa. :D

Congrats, by the way!

Tomisimo June 08, 2008 03:55 PM

Did you try to bring him up bilingual?

Iris June 09, 2008 01:08 AM

He is bilingual. That's the reason why he has decided to study English. To have to study less at university and have more time for his music...

I like the idea, Iris of that your son, he has decided study English, your son, What age is him, because if your son is still kid, is easier that he learn this language, you cheer to your son, for that he continue with his study.

Regards.

I await your corrections.

Today, I will getting a book about a lot of words of verbs.

Tomisimo June 09, 2008 10:13 AM

A few corrections.

Marcos is seventeen already, but he's bilingual, so doing English will be easy for him. He's choosing this degree out of laziness...No holy motives for him.

Why don't you encourage him to do a double-major, since English will already be easy? That's what I might do.

Iris June 09, 2008 10:43 AM

Well, that's more or less what he's going to do. He's chosen English to have more time to devote to his music studies. What I have to do now is to find him a girlfriend because he doesn't socialize much.

sosia June 09, 2008 02:09 PM

A band boy with no girlfriend? He must forgot Jazz and make pop or heavy :D

Iris June 09, 2008 02:55 PM

He's into classical music, Sosia...

sosia June 09, 2008 03:25 PM

Jazz/classical are the same. It's for people who really like music.
Try with Johann Pachelbel www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdxkVQy7QLM

You should show him these 'classical babes' who got into the finals at Britains got Talent.

Proves there are some pretty amazing classical girl musos out there for your boy. Forget about the naysayers. Watch this!
