What verb tenses can follow the verb hope. I know the present simple is the most common one
I hope you´re right
I hope to enjoy this trip
I hope you will be right ----------- it doesn´t sound right to me
I hope you had a fantastic vacation.

What is the explanation ? When do we use the present simple, when do we use will, and the infinitive?

All are fine sentences.

You can use any tense after the verb 'hope', including the infinitive.
