Hello everyone,

I am trying to learn Spanish, and I've been told that the best way is to attend a course, is this true? If so, can anyone recommend any courses in London? The 10 week Spanish course at UIC London has caught my eye, has anyone heard of them or know if they're any good? And of course, if anyone knows of any other courses, then please do let me know.

I'm also using Paul Noble's Collins Lean Spanish CD course, which comes with a booklet, can anyone else recommend any other way of learning Spanish, such as a book, audio, program, or anything else?

As you can see, I'm very keen! Any help would be much appreciated.

I checked and saw that there's a Berlitz school near the Holburn tube stop. I think Berlitz is no-nonsense and businesslike if their self-education books any indication of what their classes are like, and that may be a good way to start.

I'm sure the Cervantes Institute has a branch in London. Their approach may be more rounded with attention paid to cultural education as well as practical learning. That may be more fun if you love Spanish culture.

State colleges and junior colleges(if GB has such institutions) may offer good courses too for less dough.
