My assignment was to write a grievance letter to a company regarding a wrong order. I have used the phrases available to me in my text and it may sound mean, but it is not meant to be sent.. only graded. ayudarme por favor

Estoy escribiendo una carta porque hace uno mes en 11 de agosto pedí un abrigo del catálogo de Almacenes Alcalá. Siento decirle que ayer recibí mi paquete y descubrí algunos problemas. El abrigo me queda desmasiado grande. El abrigo es talla 42, pero mi talla es 40. Es importante quedarle bien. Tambien el abrigo es azul oscuro, pero pedí un abrigo gris. Azul nunca está a la moda. Yo quiero un abrigo combinar con mi bufanda negra. No es de buen gusto, es feo. Tengo una vida social muy sofisticada.
Yo hablé con el gente pero no me ayudaron. La verdad es que no fueron amable y no tuvieron paciencia. Eran ocupada con otra cosas. ¡Que falta de reponsabilidad! Yo creo no saben hacer sus trabajos muy bien. Tengo que a ir una fiesta el proximo viernes. Y ahora, ¿qué voy a hacer? Quisiera cambiarlo por otra. Yo todavía necesito el abrigo gris en la talla correcta. ¡Rapido! ¡No puedo seguir esperando! Espero que resuelvan la situación.

Your letter is mostly OK, but I suggest you make some changes :)

(I assume that in the second paragraph you meant "gerente" and not "gente", which makes more sense to me). If that's not correct, then you should use "personal" ("el personal de la empresa", not "gente").

Welcome to the forums!
I've moved your thread to the proper forum for posting homework.
In this forum, members should not provide answers, but offer help so that you can complete your assignment on your own. Otherwise, you won't learn anything. :eek:

There are six errors in the corrected version, three of them newly introduced! Can you spot all six?
(One of the errors is a case of transposed words. One is a word that isn't accented properly. The last is a noun/adjective agreement problem. I've excluded punctuation errors in the count.)
It may prove to be more fun (certainly more meaningful) if you mark all the changes that were made and then ask questions about any that don't make any sense (like some of the words that you can't find in your textbook ;)). Marking all the changes will narrow down your search for the three errors that were missed.

Rusty, I agree with you, it's better to just point the errors, I won't provide complete answers in the future. :)

I'm afraid I wrote the answer too fast... In my answer I've even found more errors than those you pointed... for example, there are two words that aren't accented properly, not just one.
