¡Hola!

Hey, I'm a student from the UK who came to get help with his homework.

What I found however, was a very mature - intellectual community which I hope to benefit from and help in any way I can. I'm really passionate about Spanish as it is the language that has "clicked with me the most".

I also learn Welsh and have learnt French. I've probably been learning Welsh for four times longer than Spanish and I prefer and am more fluent in the latter (though by that, "more fluent" isn't very much!)

Anyway, I hope to improve my Spanish greatly with the help of the community and the resources of the forum and helping to add to both in whatever way I can.

:)

Glad to have you on the forum ObliviousMemories . I speak Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese. I speak Spanish at home with my wife. If you speak Spanish and French then Italian will be easy for you to learn.
Does Welsh have any Latin language influence to it? For example they say English vocabulary has anywhere from 40 to 60% influence from the Latin language. Simple words that end in "tion" come for Latin. Ejemplos: Information/informacion, protection/protecion, nation/nacion, civilizacion, cooperacion, invitacion, constitucion, accion, compasion, determinacion, devocion, distribucion, instruccion, intencion, introduccion, invasion, etc. etc. all coming from the Latin language.
