Thanks for sharing. The article is fun, and enlightening, if true like you said.

Crotalito, Spain is a very varied country, full of contrasts. Both human and geographical.
We have beautiful mountainous areas and lovely beaches. There is even a desert in the south. The north is my favourite part, it is quite green and reminds me of my beloved England.
I live in Madrid, which is a big city and I guess very similar to all the modern cities of the western world. In the past few years Madrid has changed a lot due to immigration, which in my opinion has made it a lot more interesting.
It is a vibrant city, full of bars, museums, theatres and cinemas. We also have all kinds of shops, parks... I'm sure you have heard of Prado Museum and Retiro Park.

i'm not a great writer. But Gemma is here!! :D:D
It's like the USA but more compact, a lot of differents places but all worth them.
Great monuments (Alhambra, Mezquita, Sagrada Familia, El Prado) and parties (Sanfermines, Fallas, Carnavales, EL Pilar, La tomatina...)
We are a powerful tourism place, so we must have something!! :D
saludos

I agree. I love Spain minus La Costa del Sol.

I've never been to Spain, but someday I'll visit Europe. If I have the money, though :P. I've been to only 2 countries and 5 states in the US.
2 Countries: Canada (once) China (three times, I think)
I'll love to go to Spain. The problem is, though, my family doesn't know ANY Spanish, and my Spanish is limited, so I don't know how we will get through Spain....

María José September 22, 2008 07:22 PM

Most people will understand you if you speak slowly and anyway, you're still very young and have lots of time to learn.
And you are very lucky, I would love to visit both China and Canada.

La mayoría de la gente te entenderá si hablas despacio (bueno, mucha gente, quizá he exagerado). Pero de todas maneras eres muy joven y tienes toda tu vida por delante para aprender.
Además tienes mucha suerte. A mi me encantaría ir a China y a Canadá.
Besos.
