Welcome to the forum. Twalker has some interesting ideas in a previous post in this forum. Get a good Spanish/English dictionary, and make use of on-line dictionaries such as the one that Tomísimo offers. See if there
are any courses offered at schools. Listen to songs (preferably ballads) and get the lyrics to the songs and their translation on line, so you know what they are singing about. This will help you learn vocabulary more easily and also pick up on the rhythm of the language. If you are patient, persistant, and motivated to learn, it will help.

P.S. There are people in this forum who can be quite helpful.

Hi Rahej65,

Remember what James Joyce, a famous Irish writer and English teacher, said once:

Mistakes are the gate of knowledge

So, open the gate and walk in! Step by step, we'll see to your learning.

Learn by yourself, I always start with the numbers and the alphabet song. Music can tame lions and is very helpful.

Cheers,

PH
