"My Utmost for His Highest"
The title of Chambers' devotional book is En Pos de Lo Supremo. Not to quibble with whoever the translator was, but I don't think it really captures the meaning. Shouldn't it be something like - help me out here - Mi Mayor Esfuerzo por Su Gloria Más Alta or is that too literal?

Not sure what the book is exactly all about, but the title "En Pos de Lo Supremo" sounds good to me.
"Mi Mayor Esfuerzo..." sounds a bit too long, too literal and "too specific" when one doesn't know what "His Highest" really is... That's how I see it... Let's see what others think. |
