toalla - feminine noun (la) - towel. Look up toalla in the dictionary

Pásame las toallas húmedas para que le cambie el pañal al bebé.
Give me the wet wipes so I can change the baby's diaper.

To throw in the towel means renunciar.
Is albornoz the common word for terry cloth? I haven't heard it before looking it up in the dictionary today.

Albornoz means bath robe.

En latinoamérica (por lo menos lo que sé de latinoamérica) se usa
bata en ves de albornoz. Entonces, que es la palabra para la tela
de toallas y algunos albornoces que absorba bien agua que nosotros
decimos terry cloth towel o mas raramente Turkish cloth/Turkish towel?
Un otro diccionario dice tela de toalla, y eso hace sentido.

I think the only word is the one you found. In England they say terry towelling for terry cloth.

I think you can say tirar la toalla too.

Yes, David, you say: tirar la toalla.

We are throwing the towel the get out of the backroom.

Here, we say to the towel (Franela) or simply towel.

Hey, you bring me the franela, please

Or like, so, Hey you bring me towel, whatever it's the same.
