Thanks.

You just have punctuation issues to fix. Unfortunately, you're not alone. ;)

Wow. No errors as far as the content. I've fixed the punctuation now. :)

Gracias por su ayuda Rusty. :D

Good job. You can actually use different wording to make it flow better, but there aren't any grammatical errors.

Here in the forums, we prefer speaking to each other in the second person.

Okay. :D I'll be that in mind. :)

I've spotted a mistake (I think).

"la tienda de Apple es bueno."

Shouldn't it be:

" la tienda de Apple es buena."?

Thanks if you could confirm.

Of course, 'buena' agrees with 'tienda'.
Good catch.

When you named the store, are you sure it wasn't 'tienda Apple' or 'Apple Store'? 'tienda de Apple' isn't right. I didn't see that either.

I see. Should I use Apple store or tienda Apple? Thanks. :)

You should use what the store is called. Check out this link.
It says there are two 'tiendas Apple Store' in Barcelona. Note that they have also called it 'un Apple Store', omitting 'tienda' and assigning a masculine gender to the borrowed name.
So, you have two different ways to say it. Note that both words are capitalized in the store name.

Las tiendas Apple Store es bueno.

Is that right? ^_^

Thanks.

No. Watch agreement in number and gender.
You noticed earlier that 'bueno' should be 'buena', to agree with 'tienda'. Now you've changed 'tienda' to the plural form, so the adjective needs to agree with that change.
The verb and subject also need to agree in number. Before, you were talking about a single store. Now, you're talking about two.

I was just reading some more and see that 'las tiendas de Apple' may be used. But I also see that writers for El Periódico call the stores 'tiendas Apple' and 'las Apple Store'.
So, it looks like you can use several names for your favorite stores in Barcelona.

Las tiendas Apple Store es buenas.

You got the adjective right, but the verb doesn't agree with the subject.

Las tiendas Apple Stores es buenas.

I think that's correct now? Thanks.

Rusty June 16, 2013 11:23 AM

Nope. You changed the name of the store. 'Apple Store' is correct. The subject is 'las tiendas'. It's plural. The verb 'es' is singular. It needs changed to agree with the plural subject.
