Hi, are the speech marks required in the below sentence?

Mi libro favorito se llama “diario de una Sumisa”.

Another way to say 'speech marks' is "quotation marks."

Spanish uses another set of marks to enclose a quotation:

Your book title should be enclosed in 'comillas bajas', but it also looks like 'comillas altas' are allowed, according to what I've seen (and read).
