"Saber de qué lado masca la iguana"
Hello all!
Can someone help me with this idiom? I heard it from a Mexican friend of mine, but I don't really understand what he meant. The complete sentence he used was something like: "Yo si sé de qué lado masca la iguana" Any idea what it means? Thanks in advance, Lexa. |
Welcome to the forums, Lexa. :)
"Saber de qué lado masca la iguana" is a colloquial way to say that someone is well informed about something. He could have said, "yo sí sé muy bien cómo son las cosas". |
Welcome to you, Lexa, and hope you enjoy the forums as much as I do. Check out the Idioms section, and add yours to it if you like!
