Hello I was hoping to get this translated.

Does anyone know the latin-america terms for things like a shelf on a kitchen cabinet? THe term for a nightstand? Stool for sitting things on? And, while we're at it, "stand" , as in a 'lemonade stand"?

I use estante for shelf. You will note that dicionaries have many other words for shelf, but I'm not sure I would be understood if I use them.

I would use ventorrío de limonada, or maybe tiendacita for lemonade stand. I think banquillo is the best word for stool. I think mesita al lado de la cama works for nightstand.

Spanish varies a little from country to country, so wait to see what others say.

En México:

1) Repisa.
2) Mesa de noche o buró.
3) Probably "mesa" or "banco", but I'd need to see an image to know what you mean.
4) Puesto.

In Chile:

Estantes (repisas for books)
Velador
Piso
Puesto

A stool in this case is short, usually wooden, chair without a back, like the seats in a bar but shorter. I think banca is a better choice than mesa or piso.

How would you say stepstool. This is a small ladder that can also be used as a chair in some cases.
