Hola mis amigos.

Escribí algo hace dos horas. Sin embargo, necesito mas clarificación con dos frases.

¿Qué es mejor decir?

Voy a escuchar mi banda favorita en el restaurante.
Escucharé mi banda favorita en el restaurante.

Neither sentence is correct. The personal 'a' is not needed. (When the direct object is a person, you need the personal 'a'. A band is composed of people, but isn't itself a person.)
In the second sentence you didn't translate a word and misspelled another.

If you're wondering whether "I'm going to listen to" is better than "I'll listen to," that is a question of which one you want to say. Many choose to use the "ir + a + infinitive" structure over the future tense.

The misspelled word is still there. You translated the word that wasn't.
The second sentence still contains the unnecessary personal 'a'.

I was quite shocked I made such a basic error.

I guess it's good I made the silly mistake here and not in my paragraphs, right?
