Disfrutar de
Is it ever possible to use 'disfrutar' without the preposition 'de'?
Para disfrutar de mi tiempo libre, me gusta... Para disfrutar mi tiempo libre, me gusta... |
There are times when the preposition isn't employed, but the meaning is different.

A few days ago, I was discussing this with some people and with the help of the dictionary we came to the conclusion that the preposition changes the grammatical function of the verb, but not so much the meaning.
We think that the preposition makes a slight emphasis on the object/activity we are enjoying while the verb without it makes a straight statement on the fact that we enjoy something. |
