Let's + Verb (Subjunctive)

Is the following Spanish sentence correct:

Let’s put them there. (books)

Pongámolos allí.

Isn't it wonderful to arrive to a conclusion one has thought about it and, like in this case, the conclusion is correct?

My only gripe is that in this case, it seems that the thinking was done based on grammar term and knowledge instead of the general working knowledge of it that the student already has in his/her native language.

:D

My gripe is that we're talking about the imperative mood, not "Let's + verb (subjunctive)." That's the correct grammatical term. ;)
