Lo vs le
John would have cleaned the house if I had helped him:
Juan habría limpiado la casa si lo (le) hubiera ayudado. Is the indirect object pronoun ‘le’ also correct here? Would it in fact be more commonly used than the direct object pronoun ‘lo’ in spoken Spanish? |
The verb "ayudar" is a bit special. It admits both forms. In each region one of them prevails.
A pleasure. |
Thank you, Julvenzor.
