Skills Training Registration Form
This form is for job seekers. I want to put the title as
Forma de Matrícula para Capacitación de Habilidades Laborales thinking that Entrenamiento wasn't the best choice. Was I right? and how does the rest of it sound? |

Form (when it's a document) = formulario Matrícula = it's the result of the "matriculación" process. Hi Glen, It would be better if you put the original in English. By the way, the initial letter of each word isn't capitalized in Spanish. ;) |
I agree that "entrenamiento" doesn't sound right. We (Mexicans) would rather use it for activities that will be maintained over time (like sports training, astronauts programs and such).
I assume this will be the signing up for a brief course on different working skills, so I'd say something like "Forma/formulario de inscripción para capacitación laboral". By the way, Mexicans rarely would say "matrícula/matriculación", but when we do is rather for a "formal" school. :) |

Thanks a lot for the advice about capital letters, I never knew that about titles; very useful information! |

Being frank, that usage of "forma" seems Spanglish to me. A pleasure. |

In Mexico "forma" has been used for such a long time, that is not a calque of English anymore, but current language.
