Use a net to ___
-I went over to a stall, under whose tent was a pool of water, in which there were many fish. I used a net-like tool, like a paw, to ___ several fish.
I know NET/SCOOP/DRAW, but not the exact verb used to refer to the act of sinking the tool into liquid and obtaining things by vertically pulling our your hand. |
to sink / to anchor
|
Thank you, but can these two verbs fill the blank?
|
The word to fill in the blank is catch:good: but I don't think it would sound strange to say gather up.
|
draw out
scoop up |
Thank you~
