Hello everyone, I'm Ryan and I'm from North East England.

I'm currently learning Spanish, and I've joined this forum so that I may communicate with others also learning the language with whom I can converse, and so that I can clarify any grammatical points that I don't quite understand.

As of now I'm going to be posting in English, although I've written my profile out in Spanish and English. I'll start speaking in Spanish more once I've covered more verb tenses and such.

If you want/need anyone to practice your English or your Spanish with, don't hesitate to contact me. Language learning is an amazing thing to partake in and I'd love to share that experience with others as enthusiastic as myself!

I like your sthusiasm. The first step for learning is wanting to learn. Don't get obsessed yourself in the beginning. Little by little, you'll understand the deep nooks of Spanish language. I highly recommend you to look up the previous threads in order to avoid the repetition thereof. Equally, feel free to ask anything.

I, personally, wish able to write a novel in English within 30 years. For now, I solace with finishing my saga as soon as possible.

Aparentamente el inglés es igualmente dificil perfeccionar para los que hablan español que el español es para los que hablan inglés.

Ni que lo dude, Poli, ni que lo dude. Gracias por las correcciones. Si me vinieran más a menudo, seguro que ya lo habría superado. Por cierto, Mozilla me está dando errores a la hora de editar los mensajes. De hecho, aparece una página en blanco cuando pulso en "editar". A ver qué le pasará al bendito explorador. ^^

Thanks for your reassurance. As someone newer to Spanish, I do not wish to discourage you. Being able to communicate with ease and comprehension in a foreign language does not require perfection. The use of an awkward preposition doesn't necessarily cloud what is meant. You should note that mostly it's the little words that mess us up.

Es un error fatal esperar que una maquina corrija la gramática. El lenguaje es algo que aún no ha superado internet. Por lo pronto tendré que depender de otra gente exponer mis chapuzas.

Are you talking to me, Poli? What do you mean by your latter sentence? I was referring to a problem with Mozilla Firefox, on my laptop.

Sí pensé que tenías un programa que edita la gramática (una cosa que nunca atrevería usar si tal programa existe). Ahora entiendo que no pudiste editar tu propio hilo por una malfunción mozillaria
