Llevar

Llevar

I have been learning my verbs (like a good girl haha) and I am having problems with Llevar. I understand that it can mean to lead, to carry and to bring.....
But I have been reading Spanish fashion magazines and it seems it can also mean to wear?
My question is, how do we know which of these meanings is correct when we are translating is it simply the context?

It frequently means to wear. Think of it as to carry as in the model carries her clothes well.
It means to steal too especially when the reflexive is used (llevarse).

The meaning of the word depends on the context. As English speakers, we depend on context a lot. English is loaded with homonyms. (to, too, two.)
