"Nuevo" - meaning change before and after the noun

Could somebody please clarify what the different meanings are?

Is "mi nuevo coche" a car you just got, whereas "mi coche Nuevo" is a brand new car?

nuevo, before the noun = new to you
nuevo, after the noun = brand new

So, 'mi nuevo coche' is a car you just got (and may have others). It's new to you.
And, 'mi coche nuevo' is a brand new car.
