Where can I listen to TV/radio in Spanish?

I'm interested in cultural programs if possible. My level is advanced. Thanks for any advice!

TuneIn has radio from all over the world and you can search from subjects to language and location

There's always the old reliable shortwave radio. Granted, it takes patience to wait for opportune times of day or night to receive signals from the desired stations, but cheapskates like me consider such an inconvenience to be a minor trade-off in return for so much good (and free) programming.

You can take a look here for some Mexican media. Some written newspapers also have video channels.

There is also the official news agency YouTube channel, here.

This is the Archaeology Institute YouTube channel.

And here's the official agency for culture.

RTVE documentaries

Hi! I always recommend http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/documentales/ to my intermediate and advanced students. Great practice, great content :)

Hi Alfredo,

The simplest way is to just open the Spanish version of Google (http://www.google.es) and type in the search box "radio" or "televisión" and you'll get loads of websites to try out!

Good luck.

Master Cheff

i recommend Master Chef its a tv show about cooking you can learn a lot of vocabulary, its very visual and you can see the the different accent that the spanish people talk in spain and finally you can learn the culture of spain.

I love Masterchef and I have improved a lot my Spanish vocabulary. There used to be a lovely old lady on season 1

I like "Carne Cruda": http://www.carnecruda.es/
And my favourite: "Jazz porque sí" I love this jazz program, you can download some podcasts here: http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/audios/jazz-porque-si/ Cifu, the speaker, died this year (he was very old) but we'll never forget he was one of the best in the spanish radio and reputed in the jazz circles. Also a nice person, too.
