Tired
¿Cómo se dice..?
"She might be a bit tired we got back home really late last night." "Podría estar un poco cansada, llegamos a casa muy tarde anoche." "Igual esta un poco cansada, llegamos a casa muy tarde anoche." |
Lots of options.
(Quizás|Tal vez|A lo mejor|Puede que) esté (un poco|algo|un tanto) (cansada|soñolienta|desvelada), llegamos a la casa (muy tarde anoche|en la madrugada) ("en la madrugada" only if it was after midnight) Also,

Cansado in Spanishis a much more negative term than tired is in English at least among Latin Americans I know. The preferred term for to be tired
is tener sueño. Your use of poco softens cansada a lot, but if you can find a way to substitute tener sueño for cansado in your sentences, you may sound more natural- at least to my ears. I would be interested to read what others think about this. |
