State the information
Are my sentences correct?
-In the future, when you send the emails to us with PDFs of the required readings, could you also state the information of the books that you scanned? This could help us write the 'Works Cited List' when we have to write the essay. Thank you. |
Your sentences are correct, but could be reworded.
... could you also provide book information/source(s) that you scanned? ... could you also provide which works were cited? |

I look at it differently.
When I scan a book, a letter, a page, etc., it is the information that they contain that I'm interested in. And you want to know where I got that scanned information from. You're after the source of the information. I think that "Could you also provide which sources you used" gets you the answer you're seeking. If a book was scanned, the name of the book would be the source. If it is a paper, the citation should detail the source of the information that was on the paper. |
Thank you.
