Stay on with

In assigning presentations, initially John was given Week 3, but his tutor has changed it to Week 5. Now John has to protest against this. Is it correct for him to say?

-Can I stay on with Week 3?
-Can I stay with Week 3?

I would add:
Can I keep the week I had (week 3)?
