Mi amigo tiene el pelo negro y los ojos verdes.
Mi amigo tiene pelo negro y ojos verdes. I've always thought the first sentence above to be the only correct one. However, I've just come across the second one (without the article). Is the second one grammatically correct? Many thanks. |
Yes, it is correct.
Both sentences are the same, although the article might add some emphasis on the fact that you're talking about your friend's own hair and eyes, while the second sentence gives a more general idea about black hair and green eyes. :thinking: |
