Valgame/salgame

¡Salgame/Valgame Dios!
I´ve often heard these expressions/exclamations and I suppose they both mean something like; Help/Save me God! :thinking: :thinking: :hmm:
Estoy en lo correcto:?:

I'm certainly no expert here, but the first word should probably be Sálvame. The second is Válgame.

Both are exclamations. They are used to express surprise or disgust, but can have various other meanings depending on usage and audience. Neither is considered to be an expletive, but I steer away from them all the same.

I'm sorry Jane, but I believe that the phrase correct is Salvame Dios!:thinking:

I've never heard this phrase Salgame dios.

But the phrase Valgame dios is very commons in my country, and it's used in the choirs.

y, sí, tienes razon que llevan accentos en la letra a.

I have heard "Válgame Dios" (Do God protect me).
because "Valer" (one of the meanings is protect)
