Walking on
-It was an odd road to be walking, this of painting.
Based on the above, can we say? -We were walking this road. (not walking on) -This trip (or whatever word related to journey) was worth going. Do you think the second is wrong and on must be added after going? |
'going on' :thumbsup:
'walking this road' is OK, but most would add a preposition: 'walking on/down/up/along this road' |

I mean that 'going' must be paired with 'on' in your sentence. Otherwise, you would not be expressing the entire verbal phrase. We don't 'go a trip'; we 'go on a trip'.
