How to translate this?
Hello my fellow Spanish learners,
I wonder how I should translate this: please call me Yulia (to a group of people), should that be: me llamad Yulia, por favor? I'm not quite sure about this... Thanks very much in advance! Yulia |
Welcome to the forums!
Are you planning on saying this to someone in Spain or in Latin America? I ask because the command form will be different. When forming the imperative, any pronouns are suffixed and an accent mark is used to ensure that the stress in the imperative command is retained after the pronouns are suffixed. Imperative Forms of Address, with First-person Indirect Object Pronoun tú: llama; llámame vosotros: llamad; llamadme (used only in Spain) usted: llame; llámeme ustedes: llamen; llámenme |
Oh, thank you so much! I am using this for people in Spain, so I will use llamadme.
Muchas gracias :) |
