Pertinacia used with Ideas or minds

Hi,
Whats the right way to use the word Pertinacia along with Idea(s) or mind(s).
Pertinacia means stubborn & the framing should be to convey stubborn minds or stubborn ideas.
Help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks

Could you provide a specific sentence that you'd like to get translated? Or simply just the words "stubborn minds" and "stubborn ideas"?

Firstly, I believe "testarudez" would be a more common (not more correct) translation of stubbornness, although "pertinacia" has a nice ring to it and does translate as pertinacity. Secondly, in case you want the "stubborn minds" and "stubborn ideas" to be translated, we need an adjective and not a substantive, for instance "pertinaz" (or "testarudo"): "pertinazas/testarudas mentes/ideas."
